2. Hose on the coil Hose that is rolled up with the female coupling at the centre and the male coupling on the outside.
Hoses stored like this are easy to carry and fast to roll out.
All types of hose can be stored this way, but there are other ways to store hose.



3. Hose on the bight Hose that is folded at the centre and laid back on itself before being rolled up into a coil. The couplings are both on the outside.
Hoses stored like this can be quickly ‘bowled’ out in a single length, and both couplings can be easily accessed.
Typically forestry hose will be stored on the bight when on station. Other hoses are not usually stored this way.
